Susan Shallcross is a senior marketing executive with over 25 years of strategic management, marketing and communications experience. Susan is an expert at market/competitive analysis and positioning, as well as brand management and messaging.

Susan has substantial experience in the professional services industry, including almost 20 years in legal services. She managed the marketing functions for two of the world’s largest international law firms for almost 15 years. Prior to that, she was a government and public affairs consultant for FORTUNE 500 corporations and served on the communications staff of House Minority Leader Congressman Richard Gephardt’s Presidential campaign.

Since founding GHC, her clients have included the National Institutes of Health (NIH), Counsel On Call, Perdue Foods, the Washington Performing Arts Society (WPAS) and various individual attorneys, law firms and authors.

Susan holds an MBA with a concentration in marketing management from the University of Maryland, as well as a BA with a double major in English/History and a minor in Political Science from the University of Florida. She is Black Belt-certified in Lean Six Sigma, and is a trained voice-over artist as well.

In addition, she is the President/CEO of the Literary Marketing Group, a subsidiary of GHC designed to promote literary and other published works of clients. Susan herself is a published author of both fiction and non-fiction works, including her most recent book, Thriving in a Disruptive Legal Market, and is the founder of Double M Publishing.
